Citrix Systems appoints new area vice president, Australia and New Zealand

Citrix Systems Asia has appointed Raju Parrab to the position of area vice president, Australia and New Zealand.
Based at Citrix's regional head office in Sydney, Parrab will be responsible for the company's operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Parrab has worked in a variety of executive level positions in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia.
Most recently he served as chief executive officer for two technology companies which are subsidiaries of Consolidated Press Holdings.
Before that he spent 14 years at IBM Canada advancing through the marketing, sales, finance, technology and services units before being promoted to various general management positions within the company.
Parrab has also worked at Apple Computer Asia Pacific, and as managing director of Mabledon Solutions.
Parrab, who is tri-lingual, adding Spanish - from his youth living in South America to English and Bengali, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada. He undertook finance and accounting studies through the University of Toronto and has also attended two advanced management programs through Harvard University.
