Australians can get $15 for each person who signs up to Google Apps for Work based on their recommendation under a referral program launched locally today.
Google first launched the Apps for Work referral program last March in the US and Canada and has so far signed up 10,000 people to pitch Apps for Work to their friends.
Under the Australian version of the referral program, users get A$15 for each individual user account that signs up for Google Apps for Work.
If they recommend a customer with multiple user accounts, the referrer gets $15 for each of the customer’s first 100 users, Google said. The final referral amount is based on the number of users who have paid for at least 120 days, it said.
To join the referral program, users must provide their name, email address and bank account details. After registering, Google provides a unique referral link, as well as email and website templates to help recruit their colleagues.
The referral program is separate to the Google Apps Partner program, which provides an annual payment to resellers.
More details are available on the Google Apps for Work website.
