Google Sync, Calendar services will end in 2013

Google will shut down its Sync and some of its Calendar services next year as part of a winter cleanout, the search giant announced on its blog.
Starting January 30, users won’t be able to sign up for a new Google Sync account, which allows access to Gmail, Calendar and Contacts through the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync protocol.
Instead, new users will access these services through the IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV. Google Sync will still be available for Google Apps for Business, Government and Education.
Google Sync for Nokia S60 and SyncML will also shut down on January 30 as it only caters to a small number of Nokia and Sony Ericsson devices, with Calendar Sync already brought to an end this month.
Google's Calendar features Appointment slots, Smart Rescheduler, Add gadget by url will shut down on January 4.
The Issue Tracker Data API and Punchd app will also be discontinued in June 2013.
