M2's Commander launches NBN business plans

M2 offers SLA-attached, business-focussed fibre plans for the National Broadband Network

M2 Telecommunications subsidiary Commander today launched National Broadband Network plans targeting businesses. The Commander NBN plans offer the same maximum speeds as other NBN plans, but include a service-level agreement with shorter target response times when faults are reported.

Commander will attempt to rectify problems with NBN connections on plans with the Enhanced-12 Service Level agreement seven days a week, with a response time of one and a half hours after Commander is notified of a fault.

The company has set a target of 12 hours for rectifying faults on NBN connections in urban areas, with an additional 12 hours in rural areas and an additional 48 hours in remote areas. If a fault is not resolved with the stated timeframes Commander will refund the plan's monthly charge to the customer.

The two plans that include the Ehnahcned-12 SLA are Business Fibre with Enhanced Support, which has a 50Mbps download speed and 20Mbps upload, and a 300GB monthly data quota; and Business Fibre Plus with Enhanced Support, which has 100Mbps/40Mbps speeds and a 1TB quota.

The plans cost $131.95 and $161.95 per month, respectively, on 24-month contracts. The plans are also available without the support agreement for $114.95 per month for the Business Fibre plan and $144.95 per month for the Business Fibre Plus plan.
