VenuesWest has chosen NCR to provide its venue management system for the new Perth Arena, NCR announced.
The 15,500-seat Perth Arena will open 10 November with 65 NCR touch-screen point-of-sale terminals installed throughout the facility’s general concession and VIP locations. The venue is also using mobile NCR units running on high-speed wireless for concessions from seats and in corporate and VIP suites.
Perth Arena will use NCR Venue Manager to send sales information from every sales device and retail outlet in real-time for reporting, analysis and forecasting.
“The NCR system puts Perth Arena at the forefront of venue technology by providing amazing flexibility, control and connectivity,” said VenuesWest's chairman, Graham Partridge.
The agreement comes shortly after NCR inked a deal with ANZ to provide deposit technology for the bank’s next-generation ATM machines.
