Trend Micro A/NZ hires new managing director from global ranks

Security vendor Trend Micro Australia and New Zealand has announced a replacement from within its global ranks for outgoing managing director Dave Patnaik who is leaving the company after four years.
According to a statement, Patnaik is taking a senior management role overseas.
The company has hired Trend Micro’s California-based vice president of emerging products, Sanjay Mehta, to take up the managing director role on 1 July this year. Mehta joined the vendor in 2010 as vice president of emerging products. He is also the vice president of global sales enablement.
According to the company, Trend Micro Australia and New Zealand doubled its revenues during Patnaik’s tenure.
