ICT services company UXC Limited (ASX:UXC) has appointed a new finance director for its UXC Connect business.
Newly-merged infrastructure arm UXC Connect announced that Wayne Banks — former CFO of CSC Australia and New Zealand — has joined the company effective immediately.
Banks will be tasked with overseeing financial information across the business and pursuing new expansion opportunities.
Banks had also previously held roles at CSC including commercial finance manager and director of consulting and innovation Services. Prior to joining CSC he was financial controller at Sterling Software.
Banks' appointment comes hot on the heels of UXC Connect signing a new partnership with CommVault, a data management software provider.
The parties have entered a distribution agreement that will allow UXC Connect to market CommVault's Simpana software and services to customers and resellers in Australia and New Zealand.
UXC shares grew 4.13 per cent on Thursday to $0.630.
