Vodafone Hutchinson Australia, the company that operates the Vodafone brand in Australia, has reported that customers wanting to get hold of some customer care departments have been left on hold as the telecommunications company was unable to answer incoming calls.
In a blog post, customer service and experience director, Cormac Hodgkinson, said post-paid care, technical support and BlackBerry mobile support departments were affected.
"These impacted departments are currently unable to answer incoming calls. Pre-paid care, upgrades and sales departments are still operational and have not been affected. We are working as hard as we can to fix this fault and will update you more when new information comes to hand," he said in the blog posting.
