IT services provider Data#3 (ASX:DTL) has revealed it has won an award at VMware's recent APAC Partner of the Year gala.
VMware named Data#3 its Asia Pacific desktop competency partner of the year for 2010 at an event in Florida.
Data#3 group general manager, Laurence Baynham, said the company received the award for its work establishing a desktop virtualisation practice and delivering tailored desktop solutions for its business clients.
“Together with the ANZ Core Infrastructure Desktop Partner of the Year award we received from Microsoft in September, this [win] reinforces our [market] position,” he said.
The company earlier this week reported a 68 per cent increase in 1H profit to $7.94 million.
Revenue grew 23 per cent to $377.7 million, and the company declared a dividend of 38 cents per share - compared to 23 cents the year before.
DTL shares grew 2.19 per cent on Wednesday to $15.430.
