DMS Maritime inks four year deal with PicNet

The deal will extend an exising relationship between the two companies

DMS Maritime has penned a four year deal with IT services provider PicNet to provide technology services through to 2014.

The deal will see PicNet, which has supplied IT support for DMS Maritime since 2003, provide IT infrastructure, network support, software development, IT project management and strategic consulting.

The IT services provider will supply IT support, from fully outsourced IT helpdesk services, through to managing major technology investments, including disaster recovery, network consolidation and WAN optimisation projects.

DMS Maritime IT manager, Glenn Casarotto, said the deal would allow the organisation to benefit from technology without themselves having to be experts.

“The PicNet team brings technical and business experience from across the industry, which will help us make the best strategic decisions to marry our technology investments with our planned business growth,” Casarotto said.

Prior to this contract, PicNet provided IT guidance and technical support for DMS Maritime.
