The University of Queensland Business School’s Enterprize competition enters its tenth year and provides an opportunity for startups around the nation to launch their IT business into the marketplace.
The event is a networking opportunity for newcomers and the winner will share about $100,000 in seed capital “for the purpose of commercialising their new venture”.
Previous winners of the competition include CoolMe, which last year developed a cooling vest for emergency workers and miners, and CVSDude, which developed a subversion hosting platform that is now used by more than 66,000 individuals and companies worldwide including Mattel, BBC Worldwide and Stanford University.
More information about the competition can be found at the Enterprize website. Entries close on 16 July.
