Storage management and disaster recovery vendor, Acronis, is offering customers a taste of its deduplication solution, Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, for free.
Customers who buy the advanced edition of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 software can receive Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Deduplication, a portfolio of disaster recovery products that combines data deduplication, support for virtual environments and management features. The solution is targeted at enterprise, but is affordable for small and medium businesses, the company claims.
The offer is a part of a campaign to help businesses reduce storage costs and cut storage requirements, according to the company. Earlier this year, Acronis announced that it would launch a series of new products and services to protect critical data and systems from internal and external threats.
The offer runs from February to 31 March, 2010.
