Computerworld Live Webinar: Security management - transforming to address cloud security

As global enterprises weigh the risks against the rewards of cloud computing, security has come out as the top issue.
A recent CIO.com survey found that 51 per cent of CIOs say security is their top cloud computing concern, up from 45 per cent the year before. And while the trust model for cloud computing is the same, there are still real concerns around data loss and the underlying security processes utilized by the cloud provider.
Yet for most enterprises, securing for cloud computing need not be a tumultuous, expensive revolution, but rather a smooth, methodical evolution. Instead of making a significant up-front investment, enterprises can often leverage much of their existing security infrastructure to connect to the cloud, whether extending their on-premise identity management system, leveraging their virtualised environment or logging security events from both on-premise and the cloud.
Join Computerworld's Georgina Swan, Hydrasight Research Director, John Brand and Dr Andrew Kelly, Director of Security, CA, for best practices on how to take advantage of cloud computing without increasing security risks, in this 45 minute interactive Webinar.
It's free and showing at your desk on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM EST.
