Kaspersky false positive tags Google Adsense as Trojan

Update should solve problem soon

Following an update, Kaspersky Antivirus today falsely identified Google Adsense as a malicious script.

Network admins and web publishers were faced with a flurry of complaints from users who believed legitimate sites were serving malware via Javascript.

They contacted Google in their droves, and posted complaints on a Kaspersky forum thread.

According to The Register Kaspersky Lab said it is aware of the Google Adsense problem, and that an update to correct the problem should be issued shortly.

Kaspersky users visiting PC Advisor who get the warning: "Trojan.JS.Redirector.ar Links to pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js//show_ads" can be assured that this is a false positive.
