Harbour MSP opens Singapore data centre

Australian and overseas demand drives new facility

Harbour MSP will open a new data centre in Singapore on November 1 to satisfy increased demands from Australian customers and direct requirements from Singapore.

Based in the Global Switch facility in Singapore, the Frontline company will provide its services in co-location, network, storage and backup, as well as infrastructure monitoring and management. “Singapore is the major hub in Asia for many multi-nationals and mid-tier enterprises,” the CEO of Harbour MSP, John Howl, said.

“We’ve had significant demand from a number of our major Australia customers to provide services in Singapore and we very pleased to be able to make this happen.”

The new Singapore data centre will provide an on-site operations centre which will support all products in the company’s portfolio, with enhanced information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) management to improve communication between Harbour MSP and its customers.

The company was also recently appointed to the Federal Government’s interim data centre panel.
