What is TNBN Co or NBN Tasmania?

The Tasmanian National Broadband Network Company (TNBN Co), or NBN Tasmania as it is now called, is a subsidiary of the NBN Co and is jointly owned by Aurora Energy. NBN Tasmania is responsible for the first rollout of the Federal Government’s NBN in Tasmania and has already commenced work.

The Tasmanian fibre network will connect 200, 000 residential and commercial properties and run with a speed of 100Mps. Other locations will also be able to access wireless connections and satellite broadband speeds of up to 12Mbps.
