Internode enters fixed phone line arena

Claims can cut bills by up to 25 per cent

Internode has launched its first fixed-voice telephone service, NodeLine, which the company claims can save households 25 per cent on their phone bill.

NodeLine is an Internode repackaging of a Telstra analogue phone service, aimed at residential customers and is available accross Australia.

Jim Kellett, product manager at Internode, said NodeLine offers highly competitive prices for calls to national and mobile numbers.

“Long distance calls are billed as 15 cents per minute while calls to mobile phones are billed at 29 cents per minute, both with no flagfall,” Kellett said.

“Everyone has different calling patterns, so we’ve designed NodeLine to deliver savings to people who use their telephone for a typical spread of calling needs.”

Kellett also said Internode plans release a range of NodeLine-based bundles later this year.
