Ninemsn is the latest technology venture to feel the effects of the financial recession with the organisation announcing job cuts today.
It is understood that it has made 15 staff redundant. The company has about 400 staff on its books.
A spokesperson issued a brief statement this morning detailing the changes at the company.
“Ninemsn has identified areas within our business requiring acceleration, de-emphasis or integration to ensure the ongoing market leadership, operational efficiency and continued growth of our company. Given this organisational restructure, a number of staff have been impacted through revised positions, promotions or leaving the organisation.”
The company did not immediately elaborate on which areas of the business were affected by the redundancies.
