Logica Appoints Security Principal Consultant
Logica has appointed Brahman Thiyagalingham as Principal Consultant in the company’s security practice based in Sydney.

Sydney, 10 November 2008 - Logica, the leading IT and business services company, has today announced the appointment of Brahman Thiyagalingham as Principal Consultant based in the organisation’s Sydney office.

Thiyagalingham will be responsible for managing Logica’s New South Wales security practice across all of its service lines, including forensics and litigation support, security consulting, risk assessment and information security management systems.

Thiyagalingham joins Logica with more than ten years’ experience in information technology and has worked with organisations in the financial, manufacturing and government sectors. He was previously a consultant with CQR Consulting where he was responsible for the delivery of information security audits and advisory services across a range of security frameworks and ICT management systems standards.

Prior, he worked at SAI Global for four years in business and program management positions during which time he developed the organisation’s information security management systems program and established the company’s presence in India.

Thiyagalingham has also worked at Standards Australia where he managed the committees responsible for the development of IT security related standards and prepared submissions to parliamentary joint committee hearings on standards in Information Security, money laundering and cyber crime.
