Single Logistics Focus From New Software Giant

Sydney – 15th September 2008, Advanta Software, specialist software solutions provider to the 3PL and logistics markets announced that it has merged with TransLogix Holdings Pty Ltd, the leading supplier of Transport solutions to the 3PL market in Australia.

The merged company will command a significant presence as the largest 3PL, transport and logistics solutions provider in the Australian marketplace with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland. With award winning solutions TransLogix will continue to meet the growing needs of customers to create efficiencies, maintain control and provide solutions to address all the compliance issue in the supply chain – especially the new fatigue regulations.

Robert Kery, Managing Director of Advanta Software, declared the merger an ideal fit due to the overlap in the respective markets. Mr. Kery stated “the two companies have been operating in complementary marketplaces and we believe the merger will generate significant synergies and will benefit clients and staff alike.”

TransLogix Managing Director Anselm Waterfield also stressed the benefits to clients from this merger in particular a broader range of products with a higher level of functionality. Mr Waterfield said “We are now in a position to offer our customers a more comprehensive end-to-end solution that improves the efficiency, scope, and performance of their business. Our continued investment in R&D will shorten the lead time for new products and further improve efficiency and ROI for our customers.”

The TransLogix group now boasts over 300 clients supported by a larger team of 70 staff with a greater skill set. Advanta shareholders will be shareholders of the merged group headed by Anselm Waterfield as Managing Director with Robert Kery as Chief Operating Officer and joining the board of TransLogix.
