Dimension Data, a $3.8 billion leading IT solutions and services provider, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc., in the Challengers Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Managed and Professional Network Service Providers, Worldwide report.

Dimension Data CEO, Brett Dawson said, “We are delighted to be recognised by Gartner for our completeness of vision and ability to execute. In my opinion, our placement in the Challengers Quadrant by Gartner is confirmation of Dimension Data’s proven track record in providing high-quality, cost-effective network services to our clients around the globe.”

Dawson continued, “In the current macro-economic climate CIOs and IT directors are focused on leveraging their existing investments and gaining greater effectiveness from their infrastructures. Dimension Data delivers a consistent service experience across all geographies. On the ground the Group provides clients with local support in 17 languages.

“Delivering best in class network services is core to Dimension Data’s heritage and value proposition. We believe being placed in the 2008 Magic Quadrant for Managed and Professional Network Service Providers, Worldwide is a landmark that underscores our focus and continued investment in our Group’s networking and services businesses and substantiates that we’re on the right path to deliver an outstanding client experience,” Dawson concluded.
