 13 August, 2008 12:31

Melbourne, Victoria, — August 13, 2008 — EXCOM Education is proud to announce it has won the Partner of the Year Award for Learning Solutions at the 2008 Microsoft Australia Partner Program Awards. The company was chosen out of a local field of top Microsoft Partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.

“To have received this prominent recognition from Microsoft Australia this year is fantastic, but to have won it two years running is phenomenal. We stand proud of our ongoing achievements throughout the Asia-Pacific region and this back-to-back win is a reflection of the passion and commitment that all of our employees possess,” said Paul Athanasakos, National Strategic Alliance Manager at EXCOM Education.

”We are indebted to Microsoft for acknowledging our continued endeavours. This recognition sets a sound foundation for the year ahead and EXCOM will continue to become the global leader in the IT training arena,” said Mr Athanasakos.

Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of entrants from around Australia. EXCOM Education was recognised for superior technology and innovation in Learning Solutions. This award recognises commitment and ability to deliver high-quality learning services - using Microsoft technology - to meet customer needs. It also demonstrates how customer satisfaction is enhanced through skills assessment, technical training, student mentoring, and Microsoft Certified Professional exam preparation.

“Our partners are the lifeblood of Microsoft’s business and through the Awards we’re able to highlight and recognise those who have gone above and beyond in delivering exceptional technological solutions and services to Australian customers,” said Mr Paul Voges, Director of Small and Mid Market Solutions and Partner Group, Microsoft Australia.

“It’s an honour to acknowledge EXCOM’s dedication and success as part of the Microsoft partner community, and also to recognise the broader role that EXCOM plays as leaders in Australia’s IT sector.”

The Microsoft Australia Partner Program Awards recognise Microsoft Partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the last year.

It is the third time in five years that EXCOM Education has won the industry’s most illustrious award. Microsoft has enjoyed a long partnership with EXCOM Education within Australia as well as developing strong relationships within Singapore and New Zealand. The award further solidifies the vendor’s commitment to a long future together with the training provider.
