SuSE Linux 8.0 Personal, which includes 60 days of installation support, is priced at 49.90 (AUD$86); SuSE Linux 8.0 Professional, including 90 days installation support, costs 79.90 (AUD$138); and SuSE Linux 8.0 Professional Update runs at 49.90.
The new version integrates Linux kernel 2.4.18, and features improvements such as better hardware recognition at installation, remote management functions, digital sound, and new games.
Further details about the release will be made available Wednesday at the CeBIT trade show, Egle said.
