Australasian food group Goodman Fielder has awarded its two-year telecommunications deal to Telecom Corp of New Zealand.
Telecom said its TCNZ Australia (TCNZA) unit would provide Goodman Fielder with all its voice, mobile, Internet and remote access services.
The contract builds upon Goodman Fielders managed services partnership with Telecom New Zealand, providing it with a single supplier across the Tasman.
A spokeswoman from TCNZA was unable to disclose the value of the deal due to a commercial confidentiality agreement and Goodman Fielder also refused to discuss dollar figures.
In a statement issued today, Goodman Fielder's chief financial officer, Grant Logan said, "It was a strong competitive field and difficult decision, with TCNZA being awarded the contract because it offered Goodman Fielder the capability to meet our telecommunications needs across the Tasman."
