Computer Associates, Iocore, Aspect Computing and NCR have teamed together to win a $29.7 million contract with the Australian Customs Service, representing a significant milestone for the SME market.
The consortium will implement the Integrated Cargo System as part of the Australian Customs Service's Cargo Management Re-engineering project. The system governs the movement of goods in and out of Australia and replaces an old system that no longer complied with new legislation.
Computer Associates will manage the rollout of the system, Aspect Computing will provide specialist Web development and applications testing services, and NCR will provide reporting expertise. Iocore Australia will provide an applications development team specialising in the apps development tool Advantage Gen, which will be used on the new system.
