Consultancy Enterprise Architects (EA) has recruited former Telstra general manager, Mac Lemon, to lead its consulting and advisory practice.
The announcement follows the recent appointment of former Westpac chief architect, Stephen Smith, who runs EA's NSW operation.
Lemon was the general manager of architecture and future direction at Telstra and in his role at EA will help organisations seeking improvements in the effectiveness of their IT architecture and strategy functions.
EA CEO Hugh Evans said Lemon has a strong track record and is a founding participant of the Architecture Body of Knowledge (ArcBoK) community for chief architects.
"His credentials are well known to many of the current members of this forum. We are genuinely excited about Lemon coming on board and the depth of experience he brings," Evans said.
After an extensive career involving operational and management roles in software development and consulting services, Lemon spent some nine years at Telstra in management roles including chief software strategist. He has also consulted independently in the area of IT governance prior to joining EA. .
