Alcatel-Lucent has appointed a former NEC general manager as vice president of enterprise business for Australasia.
Sean O'Halloran will use his 20 years experience in the technology and telecommunications industries to lead the company's sales and channels teams and drive enterprise strategy from its Melbourne office.
O'Halloran has extensive experience in executive general management, strategic sales, business development, marketing and engineering network service roles.
He was responsible for sales and marketing efforts for voice and data solutions for the SMB and enterprise and government sectors at NEC, and previously worked at Verizon Business and SingTel Optus. Alcatel-Lucent Australasia regional unit leader Hilary Mine said O'Halloran's experience will help the company integrate and develop its enterprise division.
"He will also help establish an SMB program to help partners target enterprise customers," Mine said.
