Accredited Apple training launched for the enterprise

Increasing demand for Apple products in the enterprise has led to the launch of Australia's first accredited training courses for Apple.

Dimension Data Learning Solutions (DDLS) today announced it has partnered with Apple to offer training for technical professionals.

DDLS is the first Australian training provider to be accredited by Apple to service the enterprise sector. This partnership results from the growing interest in Apple's products in large organisations.

DDLS expects its new training courses to attract more than 2000 students during the next 12 months.

The organization's general manager, Steve Ross, said Apple products are increasingly in demand in marketing, HR, learning and development, content production and many other areas of business, with UNIX based servers and storage playing a role in the back end.

"There's still a skills shortage across the board and this new training is proof that we're doing something about it," he said.

"As the first Australian Apple training provider for the enterprise market, we're focused on providing companies with the education they need to skill-up up to Apple standards." DDLS has three Apple courses on offer in the early stages of the partnership. However the company will adopt a flexible approach to broaden this offering as demand increases.
