Staff Writers  04 September, 2007 16:01

Enterprise application firm, IFS, has appointed Tony Lorge as Asia Pacific president and Francois Wethmar as A/NZ managing director of Australia.

As regional president, Lorge will have responsibility for the company's operations.

He has more than 20 years' experience in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software market.

Prior to joining IFS, Lorge established Pivotil Academy, a developer of best practice management guidelines for ERP software.

Under his leadership, Pivotil Academy delivered best practice tools to ERP consulting firms internationally.

He also established Lorge Consulting which became one of the largest implementers of mid-market business solutions with more than 2500 ERP customers worldwide. IFS's operations in Australia and New Zealand will be led by Wethmar who has more than 18 years' experience in the management of implementation consulting services.

As consulting director he headed the implementation services and R&D division of a large listed company establishing the development and training of structured implementation methodologies for ERP business software.

He joined IFS in 2006 as operations director for Australia and New Zealand.

IFS president and CEO, Alastair Sorbie, said the Asia Pacific region, including the Australian and New Zealand markets are of great importance to the company.

"We are very pleased to promote two very impressive executives to head up these markets. Both Tony and Francois have a wealth of experience, and we look forward to seeing further growth in the region under their leadership," Sorbie said.
