VARs and SIs invited to find Soul

Telecoms provider, Soul, is on the hunt for SMB-focused resellers to offer a hosted converged voice and data solution from Cisco subsidiary, Linksys.

Linksys One is a combination of business-grade VoIP, broadband, data networking services and hosted applications over a single Quality-of-Service enabled connection.

The offering would be available to VARs and SIs signing up to the new Soul Partner Program, Soul channel manager, Karen Tomati-Watts, said.

"The beauty of Linksys One is that instead of dealing with three or four suppliers, a small business can deal with one," she said. "Not only that, but SMBs can also get functionality they would normally pay a lot more money for."

Soul is currently on the road spruiking its program and new portal to potential partners in NSW, Victoria and Queensland. Tomati-Watts said she had also begun talks with WA-based VARs and SIs and would soon turn her attentions to SA.

"We'll concentrate on the eastern seaboard first, then look at the rest as we progress," she said. "The interest is certainly there to sell this solution and I've already started receiving a lot of applications on this roadshow."

Tomati-Watts said it was too early to talk numbers for the program.

"We wanted to wait until we had the partner portal in place before going out with this. Now it's in place and we've made a start but it's very early days," she said.
