Infoplex acquires ThinkSecure
Security added to service offerings
Sandra Rossi  03 July, 2007 11:55

Managed services provider Infoplex today announced its strategic acquisition of Australian IT security consultancy ThinkSecure.

The acquisition allows Infoplex to continue to offer managed services to its customers, integrating security into each component, including its "on demand" storage capabilities, disaster recovery, shared and dedicated hosting, managed collation services, and Software As A Service.

Infoplex managing director,Sean Kaye, said the acquisition of ThinkSecure is a key component in the overall growth strategy of the company.

"Managed service offerings today must be secure by default, and by acquiring ThinkSecure, Infoplex now has the skills to deliver maximum value to its customers," Kaye said.

"ThinkSecure will continue to operate independently within Infoplex to ensure it maintains its reputation for responsiveness and excellence in the area of security consulting, procurement and support."

ThinkSecure principle Scott Crane said the acquisition allows the company to develop in new ways.

"As a standalone some of these opportunities may have taken longer to achieve," he said.

Financial details were not disclosed.
