Law firms choose Elite platform
Solution rolled out across three states
Darren Pauli  19 February, 2007 15:07

Local law firm TressCox has implemented a business optimization platform to automate administrative tasks for its 50 partners across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The platform, Elite 3E, from integrated solutions vendor Thomson Elite, is a Web-based solution which provides time and expense management, accounts payable, asset management, conflict resolution and business intelligence.

TressCox CFO Adam James, specifically went for a solution that was easy to use and required minimal training.

"Our goal is to reduce the administrative burden on our fee-earners so they can respond more quickly and more accurately to client needs," he said.

"It has an easy-to-use interface that provides access to performance indicators that will improve fee-earner performance."

The law firm is one of 30 new global subscribers from the legal industry in the Asia Pacific, Europe and the US that have signed on to the new solution.

Other subscribers include Amarchand Mangaldas, Allen & Overy, Nabarro Nathanson, Semple Fraser, Ozannes, Edward Nathan Sonnenberg, and Johnson Stokes & Master.

India's largest law firm Amarchand Mangaldas managing partner Cyril Shroff said it chose Elite 3E to globally benchmark its client service and business processes.

"We needed to acquire an integrated and robust financial and practice management system in order to provide high-quality professional advice and service," Shroff said. "Improved access to accurate and timely information will enable our management team to make more informed and effective decisions."

Thomson Elite has almost doubled its staff levels in the past 12 months.
