Sydney, Australia – November 17, 2005. Vic Whiteley, General Manager of new security technology and services distributor, SecureServ Pty Limited, has appointed two senior sales executives to his team.
Bill Pringle becomes SecureServ’s National Sales Manager and Michael I Klohk is the Southern Region Manager. Their role with SecureServ is to build, maintain manage and support a reseller channel and to implement the unique SecureServ Security Partner (SSP) concept. They also will each be involved in key account sales.
Bill Pringle has more than 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. His responsibilities have included sales, marketing, business development, and senior management in the Information Technology, Data Communications, Software Development and Call Centre solutions markets in Australasia and other Asia/Pacific regions.
His postings encompass positions as Managing Director, National Sales and Marketing Director, Regional Director - Asia/Pacific and Regional Sales Manager with major internationally listed companies. In these roles he has successfully developed business in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Japan and Korea for companies such as NCR, ICL, Concurrent Computer, Recognition Equipment, International Software Group, and Lake Corporation. Areas of business interest covered a broad range including government, finance and banking, telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution, retail management and call centres.
Michael I. Klohk is SecureServ Southern Region Manager based in Melbourne. His territory includes Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
Michael has studied Economics in Frankfurt, Germany and has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT reseller channel having worked for every tier in the process - vendors, distributors, systems integrators and consultants. For the last 10 years, Michael exclusively has worked in the ICT Security Area and has gained an in-depth knowledge of this market. His roles focussed on sales, channel and channel marketing and included positions such as State Manager, Channel Sales Manager and Regional Manager. Previous employers include Compaq and CheckPoint in Germany, and Westcon (now LANsystems), Nokia and Fulcrum Consulting Group in Australia.
Michael Klohk and SecureServ Pty Limited are members of the Information Systems Security Association Australia (ISSA).

Servgate products will be offered to the channel bundled with Installation and Managed Firewall Services to deliver a fully value-added security solution.
