Sybase Australasian managing director Peter Fletcher has resigned. He will be replaced in the short term by Asia-Pacific vice president Raymond Teh until a successor is found.
Fletcher says he is returning to New Zealand. "I've been commuting for three years to Australia. My son is going to Cambridge University on a Douglas Myers scholarship in bio-chemistry, and I wanted to spend more time with the family."
He left Sybase immediately after resigning.
