Lawrence replaces Fleming as QAD MD

Alan Lawrence has been appointed the new managing director of QAD Australia and New Zealand.
Previously manager of QAD Japan, Lawrence replaces Gordon Fleming who has been promoted to QAD vice president of vertical marketing, based at the ERP software company's California headquarters.
Lawrence joined the South Australia-based vendor three years ago. He has 20 years industry experience in the UK, Europe, US and Asia-Pacific.
Before joining QAD, Lawrence was managing director of a Sydney-based outsourcing company. He has also worked in senior sales and consulting positions for two large ERP companies and his industry experience includes consulting stints at Logica and in manufacturing and engineering roles at Pilkingon Glass.
