ASG teams with TeraCloud for mainframe SRM

ASG Software Inc. aligned with TeraCloud Corp. in a deal whereby ASG offers TeraCloud's SRM (storage resource management) wares.

ASG is an enterprise software and professional services provider to Global 5000 companies, and TeraCloud provides SRM software for mainframe environments.

Under terms of the agreement, ASG will add to its lineup TeraCloud's SRM solutions for managing OS/390 storage resources.

The product suite is available immediately, and includes tools for monitoring storage requirements, improving availability, optimizing tape utilization and analyzing real-time hierarchical storage management activity.
